A Generic Cialis Tale that Might Leave You Hanging
rutakino
On the evening of Wednesday, August 1, 2007, Carl Hughes put away the papers on which he had been working. He reached for his briefcase and his car keys, intent on trying to avoid the heaviest Intestate traffic. Carl knew that he needed to drive on the busy I-35W, a road that crossed a section of the Mississippi River in the state of Minnesota.

When Carl got in his car he gave no thought to the pack of generic online pharmacy that he had put on the empty front seat. Carl had purchased that package during his lunch break. He planned to put it in his medicine chest after he got home. On the advice of a friend, Carl had decided to try a different ED pill. If he liked it, he would use the Cialis instead of the generic Viagra.

Carl made good time getting to the bridge across the Mississippi. Carl hoped that the bridge traffic would not slow his progress home. Carl suddenly had his hopes shattered. The bridge had begun to come apart. Carl’s car was dangling on one section of the broken bridge.

Carl immediately jumped out of his car. As he was about to run away from the dangling vehicle, he suddenly remembered his generic Cialis. Carl did not know that a video camera was then capturing his every move. The makers of generic Viagra were lucky, because that camera could not provide a close-up of any action.

Carl brazenly ran back to his car. At first he forgot where he had put the generic Cialis. Carl opened his trunk; the ED pills he wanted were not there. Next Carl ran to the door on the right side of the car. He opened the door and removed the package on the front seat.

All of Carl’s actions showed-up on a video camera. The film from that camera was later given to CNN. One afternoon, the production crew at CNN arranged for the showing of the film that had captured Carl’s frantic retrieval of his ED pills. As the crews ran that film, one of the new correspondents said “Wow, look at that cool dude.”

She had been referring to Carl’s daring return to his car. She did not know that one member of the marketing team for Generic Viagra saw that clip on CNN. When he saw how Carl had risked his life to retrieve something from his car the marketing executive said, “Gee if that guy were going after ED pills, maybe we could use that footage in one of our ads. I hope he is not doing that to prevent the loss of ED pills that were made by one of our competitors.”

The executive was about to call one of his interns. A summer intern could always be depended on to go after needed information. Then the executive suddenly thought of a different way to use that intern. He decided to wait until after the company’s scheduled meeting, before calling for a summer intern.

Getting a Master's Degree

Just to continue some thoughts from yesterday's post. (Yesterday's was a jumbled mess of my ramblings that had a number of different thoughts and ideas going on.) But one idea in particular warrants another visit:

Getting a Master's Degree.

This is something that no one really wants to talk about (unless it was in your original plan). I think most people, especially early on during their undergraduate work, just assume that "they're going to medical school." It's what they tell their friends and family. It's what they tell themselves.

But what if you really don't have what it takes to get accepted? What you just keep getting rejected time and time again? The truth is that most people most people do not choose a pursuit of a Master's Degree as a second chance. Not because they lack the will to do so. And it's not a sign that "they didn't really want to be a online pharmacy in the first place." It's time. It's income.

It's getting older and deciding to delay your life for another 2 years where you could take a well earned Bachelor's Degree and begin your career and become self-sufficient.

At some point, real life takes over.

It's a question that you may have to ask yourself in the future, whether or not it was part of your original plan.

Some food for thought.

What Can A Simple Pill Do To The Human Body?

What Can A Simple Pill Do To The Human Body?

Viagra exploded onto the erectile dysfunction scene many years ago. It has since been the leader in erectile dysfunction remedies, along with its close counterpart cialis. But many prescription drugs are particularly harmful to the human body; where does Viagra and Cialis fit?

The Good: How Viagra Works for Your Body

The problem with erectile dysfunction is simple: there is not enough blood flow to the penis. We can counteract this effect by simply increasing the blood flow- usually with a muscle relaxer. But most common muscle relaxers will indeed relax the entire body- including the penis.

What is needed, specifically, is drugs that can relax the right muscles to stimulate blood flow to the penis- all while keep from relaxing the penis completely. Originally the cure came in the form of an injection- but today we have a pill form known as Viagra.

Getting to the Specifics: What Does Viagra Do?

To actually open up blood flow to the penis for an erection, Viagra decreases the levels of phosphodiesterase, or PDE. This enzyme decomposes a necessary chemical, cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP). cGMP is necessary to obtain an erection, so therefore stopping the PDE from decomposing this chemical will result in a healthy erection.

Generally, the more cGMP that is built up means the greater the blood flow that is present. This will result in a much healthier erection, even when men suffer from conditions such as erectile dysfunction.

The Side Effects of Viagra

One interesting side effect (that is far from dangerous) is that Viagra will give some users a bluish-tinted perspective. This actually means that pilots are forbidden to take Viagra 12 hours before flying. Other than pilots, everyone else can sit back and enjoy the virtual blue sunglasses.

Viagra does have more serious side effects, however. Viagra is a prescription drug (as compared to over the counter) mainly because a doctor needs to check one's medical history before giving the green light to take the drug. Serious altercations such as heart attacks can result from taking Viagra, so a doctor visit is mandatory before taking Viagra.

Other more common side effects include headaches and related minor annoyances. Aside from these listed side effects, Viagra is actually a very safe drug to use- as compared to other alternatives.

Alternatives to Viagra: Improving on the Blueprint

Drugs such as Cialis work very similarly to Viagra. Whereas Viagra blocks one certain enzyme in the human body, drugs such as Cialis block another, and thus, different side effects result.

The main difference between Cialis-like drugs is that they won't cause color vision changes within users. Cialis users are also able to get an erection for around 18 hours in a day- from what Cialis claims. The only downfall to Cialis is that in 5% of men, muscle ache results from taking the drug.

Cialis is, likewise, generally preferred among pilots. It is also preferred when a male desires to obtain an erection at any point in the day- not just at specific times. However, both drugs have been long proven to give men their life back when concerning erectile dysfunction. Keep in mind that a doctor visit will be necessary to help rule out possible critical side effects.

Once the green light is given, the road to sexual satisfaction will once again be paved in gold.

Philosophy of Viagra
rutakino

Remember: "It is clear that purchase cialis needs to be examined not only from a sociological but also from a philosophical point of view"!

The impotency remedy cialis is the “fastest selling drug in history” (McGinn 1998). It is no longer just a medical phenomenon, but also a cultural icon, appearing in television sitcoms as a pretext for jokes or as a murder weapon. Viagra has socio-cultural implications not limited to sexuality, but concerns various parts of our cultural landscape. Being relatively convincing in terms of bio-medical efficiency, criticism of Viagra has so far mainly been expressed in the (often feminist) “Liberal Arts” camp where Pfizer (the maker of Viagra) is reproached for its profit-oriented negation of any psychological, social, emotional, and relational components involved in impotency. Further criticism ridicules Viagra’s mechanical imagery of a “techno-fix” (Vares & Braun 2006) not only intensifying the medicalization of impotency current since the early 1980s (Tiefer 1986), but also making “sex into a medical function like digestion” (Tiefer 2003) and the fact that Viagra renders masculinity as a mere problem of chemical engineering, plumbing, and hydraulics. A further concern is that through Viagra, the traditional gender role of the “potent man and the happy woman” is restored without any critical revision (Loe 2004). In spite of, or because of, the narrow humanistic basis offered by its producers, Viagra has obtained the status of a lifestyle drug.

It is clear that Viagra needs to be examined not only from a sociological but also from a philosophical point of view.

What do philosophers have to say about the “viagrification” culture? Is there a philosophical principle behind Viagra as a cultural phenomenon?

Possible subjects are:

  • Viagra and Posthumanism (artificial life)
  • The Body as a Machine
  • Reality and Desire
  • Pursuing Hedonism. Why not?
  • Non-natural sex?
  • Ethical concerns about Viagra
  • Viagra and the Virtual. Through Viagra the desire is not created but has always been there in a virtual (that is, not actual but also not non-actual) form. Through Viagra the desire becomes (virtually) real.
